MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND (3 night minimum)

Celebrate Memorial Day with horseshoes tournaments (Men’s, Women’s, Coed and Teens’ brackets), children’s crafts and games, bingo and free wagon rides. We will also have a live DJ Saturday night and Karaoke on Sunday night.

FATHER'S DAY

Play some games with Dad on Saturday and enjoy complimentary donuts and orange juice at the office on Sunday.

11TH ANNUAL SAND SCULPTURE CONTEST

Bring your imagination and expertise to our annual sand sculpture contest. Start sculpting at 1pm and the judges will be out at 3pm to announce the winners! There are prizes in various categories for all ages, so have fun and good luck!

FOURTH OF JULY (4 night minimum)

Enjoy the weekend with horseshoes tournaments (Men’s, Women’s, Coed and Teens’ brackets), bingo, wagon rides and children’s crafts and activities. Decorate your bikes and golf carts to ride around in our annual parade on Saturday, sit back or dance your heart out at the live DJ on Saturday, and show what you got at karaoke on Sunday!

FISHING DERBY

Get your fishing rods and lines ready, bring your bait or buy some at our store because it’s time for the Fishing Derby! Join this catch and release contest and win a prize for most fish caught, smallest fish, and largest, too. Who will catch Big Old George this year? Come to the lake at 10:00am and fish the day away.

WINTERFEST

Santa and his elves arrive on his wagon to bring presents to the good boys and girls of Walnut Hills (parents, bring a small –less than $5- wrapped gift with your child’s name and site number written on it). Enter our site decorating contest and enjoy the New Year’s Eve dance Saturday night!
July 20-21

RACE WEEKEND

Catch the best frog you can find and enter the frog jumping contest. There will be relay races for the kids and a river tube race for everyone. Come join in the fun!
July 27-29

BEACH PARTY

Set up your chairs and umbrellas and gather around the beach to enjoy hula hoop and limbo contests with a live DJ playing music in the background. Decorate your site, wear a tropical hat and pull out that Hawaiian shirt as we soak in the sunshine at our own tropical paradise.
Aug 10-12

DRIVE-IN MOVIES

Come over to Pavilion 1 on Saturday night to watch a movie on our big screen TV. We’ll provide the popcorn—you can even come in your pajamas!

LABOR DAY WEEKEND (3 night minimum)

Enjoy a live DJ Saturday night and show off your vocals at Karaoke on Sunday. We’ll also have horseshoe tournaments (Men’s, Women’s, Coed and Teens’ brackets), Bingo, crafts and games for the kids and wagon rides!

HALLOWEEN WEEKEND (2 night minimum)

BOO! Decorate your site as scary as you can for our site decorating contest and dress up for campground-wide trick-or-treating. Paint pumpkins, enjoy donuts and cider, and search through our famous Needle in a Haystack, filled with toys, candy and more. If you are expecting guests, they must register in the office and obtain a wristband to participate.
